A few tips before buying content
Before buying content, here's a few tips that might be useful. Or might not.
Porn is fantasy it should look real enough to convince the buyer. We all know that acting is not real, but when we watch a movie our imagination takes over and creates the reality. So porn has to do the same, the viewer has to fantasize it was real and not acted.
When buying porn to resell ask yourself, how convincing is this? Does it look like she/he/they are enjoying themselves, want more or just being paid to go do it. Look at what you can see and more importantly what the models show you, essential in solo girl content. She could be fully clothed, but showing you a look that promises a “good time” this will arouse surfers to want more.
A simple rule of thumb is; Not would I fuck her, but would SHE FUCK ME? If the answer is anything from probable to damn sure, then you have good porn. Porn is a fantasy business not a meat market.
A lot of people are looking for content that isn't saturated. But if it’s good it sells. So unless you're going to pay a lot more for good exclusive content, then know if it's good it's going to get sold elsewhere. Good buyers know what works, they go back and buy from the same suppliers again and again. Bad buyers don't have the money to go back. The same rules apply on the Adult Internet, successful paysite owners and webmasters soon learn what works and come back and buy again and again.
But there is a way you can get ahead of the game without spending extra money for exclusive content. The only person exclusive matters to is the consumer. If he has never seen that before then it's exclusive to him, for that 20 minutes. He will not care if you paid $300 for it or $35 all he cares about is, does it turn him on and has he seen it before.
Once he has seen it it's no longer exclusive to him. So buy new and buy fresh. Don't despair when content providers send you Newsletters, they are saving you time by delivering brand new sets to your computer. See if it suits your sites and if so get in their and buy them quick, don't buy saturated content, be the one who made it saturated.
A problem stemming from some webmasters and paysite owners only consuming free porn, is they think this is the same for most porn buyers. Well get down to your local magazine store and see the price of ********* $8.99, Score $8.99, Barely Legal $7.99 any one of them can be read in under three hours. Most decent porn, two hour videos, are $30, I bought one of Privates new ones for 30 Euros recently.
So never assume that porn does not sell, it's not a ten billion dollar industry because “I can get all the porn I need for free” If you can't sell it, it does not mean no one buys porn anymore. Get out there and research what people are prepared to spend $3 - $10 an hour to look at and then come back, because selling porn at $1 a day should be a breeze. If you do it right.
Assume a guy prepared to pay for his “Jerk Off Material” will look at the quality not the price. He is looking for 15 to 120 minutes every day of pleasure, do you think he's going to spoil his pleasure for the sake of $1 a day? He does not buy on price so why do you think you can sell to him by buying on price. He wants a luxurious, 5 star experience. Don't serve him up the cheapest you could find because of your buying motives.
Lastly most peoples fantasies and erotic impulses remain the same, what turns them on this year turned them on last year. They are looking for something new not different, they want to see a new girl in a new set but shot in the same style. Not a totally different style. He wants to jerk off to something new but something he understands.
This is why some sites that shoot their own content are so successful. The consumer knows what he's going to get, it's new but still familiar and friendly to him. He does not have to try to understand it, he's just enjoying a new girl.
Paysite owners, decide on the style of your site and buy from the people who supply it, keep close to them and make sure you get their content as soon or even before it's released. Find different shooters who work within the same styles, don't go off on different styles it just confuses a buyer. Sachs does not sell Wal-Mart and visa versa.
Webmasters look at where you are sending the traffic and what you are using to push it there. Make sure when he arrives it's similar to what sent him there.
Well there it is. You think it's all about traffic? Well it is, as soon as you have the content sorted to drive and receive the traffic.
