What I have tried to do here is put together a complete package of information for someone interested in Blogging or already Blogging. If you read thru the below carefully you will discover a wealth of information.

1. Blog building

Before you build a blog, you need to decide how you want to host it.

If you're not interested in the technical aspects involved, you can always sign up for a free account on a blogging site.

The most popular is Blogger - http://www.blogger.com but really only now for Mainstream Blogs.
Don't waste your time building a Adult Blog here because it will get deleted.

http://www.thumblogger.com/ is the best product out there now for a free adult blogging service and the support you get there from its owner Twan is wonderful. Check out their
forums for great help with your new blog.

The most important feature in a blog script is that it's search engine friendly.

2. Blog editing

This may not seem that important. After all, you can just go right to your site and post.

Sounds easy right? Maybe not if editing HTML is as alien to you as the notion of learning to build a blog in the first place.

Try this tool to help you post to your blog. It offers you a WYSIWYG editor, which means that you can write and edit at the same time, and it you'll see exactly how your blog post looks as you are writing.

3. Blog Posting using wBlogger

You can use wBlogger now at Blogger for your mainstream blogs or at Thumblogger at

If you'd rather have a desktop tool, instead of writing your blog from the control panel, this tool is for you.

wBlogger - http://www.wbloggar.com/ - is an excellent application for helping you create blog posts, and you don't have to be online to write posts for your blog.

You create your post and save it for when you are ready to post. This is especially convenient if you don't have time to write everyday.

4. Blog Subscriptions , having a Email Me Box on your Blog or Website

Although RSS is slowly becoming popular, many still like to receive an email. The problem is that many of the autoresponder systems you can use either don't include RSS, or RSS autoresponders can be expensive.

Below are two tools where you can copy and paste a subscription box onto your site and visitors can subscribe for updates.

5. RSS Generators

If your blog application doesn't create a feed automatically, you may have to make one. It's really much easiser than it sounds. This site will walk you thru the steps with ease.

With this application, you just enter your information and click submit. This is especially useful if you want to create a feed for your website.

6. Blog and Ping Applications

Pingomatic - http://www.pingomatic.com

Only use Pingomatic after you update your Blog.

Pingoat - http://www.pingoat.com Do not try to ping adult sites thru Pingoat. Only mainstream sites and even those you may have to follow the steps to get them white listed.

7. RSS Promotion

Although blog and ping is great for notifying the directories that you've updated your blog, you usually need to submit your RSS feed to the directories first before using the update tools.

Feedsubmitter - http://www.feedsubmitter.com - is a free tool you can use to help you get your feed indexed quickly. This will save you some time because you don't have to visit each site to get your site indexed.

You will also find that when you use this submitter that it gives you a lot of failures. If you click each little grey button there you will find that not as many submissions failed as it is telling you. Yahoo will fail however you can log into your Yahoo account and submit your feed from there.

Ok everyone you know has climbed on the Blogging Bandwagon and those who haven't are predicting the end of Blogs is near. That very soon the bubble will burst and it will be all over. Fortunately for the most part its the same group of people who predict the sudden coming end to every new thing that comes along. No so long ago it was TGP's. As soon as they came on the scene that same group of people started predicting the end is near. But the TGP's are still here aren't they. And the Blogs will be here to. For sure they will change and evolve as time goes by but they aren't just going away. And people need to quit trying to put everyone's Blog into the same little box. Just because their Blog doesn't fit your definition of a Blog or Wikis definition of a Blog that doesn't mean its not a Blog. Blogs are evolving. In reality it has become a new way of publishing a web site but that is fine. Your Blog does not have to look like someone's cookie cutter image of what a Blog should look like and it shouldn't.

Blogs quite simply are not going away. There's more of them every day and those numbers are sure to increase in the coming months and years. Will they change. Sure they will. Will something else come along. Sure it will. Someday but for now Blogs are the best thing out there. But they are work if your going to make money with them. You can't just throw up a few lines of text and a picture or two like you once could.

You have to spend more time today than when Blogging first started to get the same results. You need to build Blogs with their own distinct personalities. You have to build Blogs that make people want to return. You need to come up with sticky content that will make them want to drop by every day or even twice a day. Bookmarkers are very important. And to succeed in the long term since you must have them. You have to give them a reason to want to bookmark your Blog. That's where sticky content comes in.

You need to create a site with something that will make people want to return. For like of a better analogy you need to build the better mouse trap. You know the old saying. If you build a better mouse trap the world will beat a path to your door. Well if you can build the better Blog the world will beat a path to your door. When you build your Blog ask yourself. Is their something about my Blog that excites me. Is there a reason or reasons for me to return every day. If I am a porn surfer is there a reason for me to return. Is my Blog fulfilling a need. Does it make me want more.

A few lines of text and a picture or two will snatch a sale or two out of the air now and then. But a Blog with adult stories , pictures , sponsor movie galleries or any combination of things you can come up with will make your Blog sticky. And make it sticky enough and people will return. You need to think outside the box and come up with some new and innovative ideals that will make people want to return to your Blog. You need to create a illusion.

A Blog I know of that was and is one of the busiest Blogs of all time was created by a man who set up and wrote a daily Blog as a woman. Every day there is a new post about her and her adventures and every day thousands of people return to see what's new. Mixed in with the daily 3-4 paragraphs are links to movie galleries , recommended sites etc. The Blog says it is the Daily Life of a Chicago prostitute ( a working girl ) but what it is in fact is one very well thought out sales tool. The 22 year old prostitute is anything but. He yes he is a 50 something year old man who got fed up with going to the office every day and one day he created the better mousetrap. Since then he has created several other Blogs with the same or similar success. And no I am sorry but I won't out him with a url.

But what did he do. He thought outside the box. He created a illusion and presents it on a daily on going basis that continues to work greatly. Can you do something similar. Of course you can. If you can come up with a new innovative ideal then you will have success to. You can even take old ideals and repackage them. But you have to do something that will reach out and grab people. It doesn't have to grab everyone but only a certain percentage of web surfers and make them want to return on a day in day out basis. Because the bookmarkers are the people that are going to be your meat and potatoes. They are the people who are going to get used to seeing you or the illusion you create on a day in day out basis and as trust builds they will in time pull out that piece of plastic. And bottom-line that's what we all want. We want them to pull out the credit card.

Now all of this is not going to happen over night. It is going to take you a lot of energy and time investment to build the better mouse trap. But if you can come up with that new or innovative ideal or repackage a old ideal in a new and innovative way then you are on your way to success.

In closing let me go back over a few things. Just because you have a Blog doesn't mean it should match some ones cookie cutter image of what a Blog should be. Your Blog can and should be what ever the hell you want it to be. You should be a free thinker and make yours as different from everyone else's as you can. If you come up with the ideal that works hell screw them if they say but the definition of a Blog is. Make your Blog a illusion that touches a certain broad section of web surfers and you can laugh all the way to the bank. And bottom line that's what were all after is the money.
