In today's Adult Net, I find it is getting harder and harder to find quality
traffic, and along those same lines, it is getting more difficult to make sales
and retain members. This is especially true for the major niches that once upon
a time were extremely bankable, such as Teen or Boobs or Asian and many more.
Yes there is still plenty of money in those niches and always will be, but
unless you are a major player, it is getting tougher every day to squeeze good
money out of them in my opinion.

So let's take a look at something else you can do to add profits to your
company, without banging your head against the wall trying to compete with
500,000 other Teen Girl sites. Let's talk Micro Niche. Micro Niche is exactly
what the name implies, a very narrow defined niche. Whereas "Teen" is a very
broad niche, "Stockings" is a more narrow niche. Some niches that I would
consider a Micro Niche are Stockings, Smoking, Glasses, Plain Girls, Nerdy
Girls, even Balloons.

The trick to making a Micro Niche work for me, has always been thoroughly
learning the market. The best way to do that is to hang out online with the
people you will be targeting. Let's assume you have decided to target the Girls
Wearing Glasses niche for example. It is amazing how "into" the niche guys can
get. Go to Yahoo and find some groups dedicated to the micro niche. Hit the
newsgroups and find groups about babes wearing glasses. Hang out for a couple
days, chat, read and participate.

You will quickly see that these are not your average porn surfers just
looking for 500,000 pics of girls getting fucked. They know exactly what they
want, and are willing to pay to see it. It's more difficult for them to find
lots of their micro niche content for free, so they sign up more readily, and
retain longer if the paysite is good and updates with niche content.

Once you have learned the mindset of the niche, it's time to move on to
getting the traffic. For almost every micro niche out there, you will be able to
find targeted linklists, toplists, TGP's and picposts. Compared to normal adult
traffic trading sites, you should be very pleasantly surprised at how this micro
niche traffic converts. Establish yourself a strong base of traffic in your
micro niche by establishing your own targeted sites to trade traffic with other
sites within your micro niche. Rinse and repeat.

When you feel that you have grown within one micro niche to your upper
limits, maintain it at that level and move to a second micro niche. There are
LOTS of them out there, and in fact you can even CREATE a micro niche all of
your own and see how it does… but that is a story for another day.

Once you have mastered getting micro niche traffic and converting it with
quality sponsors, also may be a good time to consider opening your own paysite
in that micro niche. With the right content and quality, plus regular targeted
updates, retention on these types of sites can be very impressive. That,
