Ok I keep seeing people post I built a site and I am getting 10 - 15 hits day where do I get more. In this thread I am going to try to give you the bare basics of getting traffic. I am going to assume that you are starting today and have no ideal what your doing. Everyone else just follow along. You might just learn something. I started to post this in the Blogging Forum but I think it belongs here so I will post a link there to this post here.

Ok lets assume here your doing a Blog. That you have it built and its setting there with its open sign on but few if any people are coming by. I am going to assume here that you all know what RSS is. If not stop right here.

You can set up your Blog ( Well Some Of Them You Can ) to submit automaticly to Yahoo with your RSS feed or what I have found works much better you can sign up for a free Yahoo account and hand submit your RSS feed to Yahoo

By Now You Have Probally Figured Out To Make Money You Have To Spend Some Money

You can start out with little or no money but if your going to expand and make more money your going to have to spend some money. There are two purchases I have suggested in this thread so far but both will increase your traffic and any increase in traffic should eventually increase sales. The more you can do to increase traffic the more sales you should eventually rack up.

 

 

More Traffic Solutions and Tips

Ok if you've read this thread you know how some great ways to get traffic so now we are going deeper into ways to get traffic to your web site or blog.

You should idealy own several domains at least. A great person to work with here at the pond is Headboy. He can take care of all your domain needs and offers great service. Check him out.

You need several domains and then you can build landing pages on extensions off those domains and submit a lot more often to the link dumps. One thing to keep in mind here is the better quality stuff you post the better your chances of people clicking your links in the future and returning to your page or pages. If you do only bullshit posts people will learn and they will stop coming. One of my favorite sayings is " If You Build It They Will Come " And they will to if you do quality pages and you build a good following of people who return to your page day after day.

Its important to give people what they want. So what should you do.

1. Find out what link titles are getting the most clicks.
2. Find a sponsor with the same or simular material and if your not a affiliate of that program join it.
3. Build you Blogs , landing pages , or websites with the sponsors content.

Make you up catchy link titles that are going to reach out and grab people. Use something that is going to make them click it.

 

 

Use Groups to build your own Traffic Machines

You can build some great groups at Google Groups and also at a new place called World Groups

Once you build these groups and get them going place sign up boxes for them on your web sites and Blogs. In time if you post good content to your groups you will build up huge nice mailing lists of your own that you can use to market to and you should get good results once you have built your groups up. I do very well with my groups.

I would suggest you use Google Groups or World Groups for your Groups because
Yahoo from time to time will delete groups with no reason what so ever.
